The Cold Breeze

Last night he came

He sneaked upon me;

This gave me pleasure at first,

but then, fright seized me and pain became reality;

I left trembling like a leaf on a tree,

Like the ones that fall from the trees in the winter breeze.

Then the killing breeze whispered

in my ear, that cold painfully reminding breeze,

That blew through my ear and around my heart.

Then the breeze became a strong gust of wind

And tore my heart thin.
